CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) v1.3 (including High Maturity)
CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) v1.3
SCAMPI Class A appraisals are used to benchmark organizations against CMMI practices, and is the only method that can result in maturity level or capability level ratings.
SCAMPI Class B appraisals are conducted against implemented practices and provides options on the model and organizational scope. CMMI practices are characterized based on risk.
SCAMPI Class C appraisals provide a wide range of options, including evaluation of planned approaches to process implementation. They are frequently used as a gap analysis or quick look review.
